Job summary

Shoppa’s Material Handling, a family-owned dealership serving customers nationwide, is seeking a Rental Make Ready Tech. The role focuses on inspecting and preparing rental equipment, documenting locations, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Training will cover all forms and procedures to ensure accurate, timely delivery readiness. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, photographing assets, and collaborating with the Rental Manager and Shop Foreman to keep

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in an industrial equipment field preferred.
• Ability to inspect and clean rental equipment and complete required forms.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean rental equipment upon receipt and prior to delivery.
• Photograph equipment and submit inspection forms.
• Organize equipment location and ensure Rent Ready condition.
• Load and unload equipment as needed and assist transportation/logistics.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment and work area.

Ensure that all quality, safety and general equipment condition are addressed, using appropriate forms are completed and submitted as instructed. Responsible for storing equipment in safe, organized manner. Maintain a system for documenting for equipment location. Keeping stored equipment in Rent Ready condition.
