Stewart & Stevenson is hiring a Rental Field Service Technician II at 5717 IH I-10 East San Antonio, TX 78219. The role involves diagnosing problems and performing mechanical repairs on customer’s compressors, generators, and rental equipment at their location.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and order parts necessary for repairs and maintenance.
2. Perform repairs on compressors, generators, and related equipment; replace parts as needed.
3. Conduct routine maintenance and setup according to guidelines.
4. Complete work orders and time sheets accurately and promptly.
5. Follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) safety protocols.
6. Plan and organize work schedules and methods.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
8. Adhere to quality and safety standards.
9. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across all brands of equipment.
