Qualifications
- Four-year degree from an accredited university or 4 years of experience in the construction equipment industry.
- Prior sales experience preferred.
- Ability to train and educate customers on machine operation.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to exceed customer expectations.
- Self-motivated with ability to seek new customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Value Added selling techniques and models.
- Strong financial negotiating skills.
- Computer literate; proficient with Internet, MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and MVRO checks on final candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with sales and rental equipment needs.
- Aim to maximize sales and profitability in the territory with existing and new accounts.
- Provide equipment solutions to customers and meet market growth goals.
- Allocate call frequency between existing customers and opportunities.
- Prepare sales presentations, reports and quotes.
- Understand the rental equipment market to support sales and valuation.
