Job summary

Company Wrench is seeking a dedicated Rental Prep Technician to join our experienced team. You will handle check in/out, photo documentation, and minor repairs of rental and sold equipment, ensuring top quality and efficiency.

This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, safe work habits, and the ability to start early and stay late to complete rental items. Training is provided, and growth opportunities exist within a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Safe work habits.
• Ability to start work early and stay late to finish a rental item.
• Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
• Two-year diesel engine, heavy truck repair, or heavy equipment tech school certificate OR 2+ years of repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out rental equipment and take detailed pictures.
• Perform receiving/delivery reports with notes of damage.
• Perform paint touchup and bodywork on equipment.
• Power wash, clean, and detail equipment and attachments.
• Install attachments and hydraulic kits on equipment.
• Service and minor repair of equipment and attachments.
• PDI of new equipment and maintain records.
