Job summary

Messer Construction Co. in Cincinnati seeks a Rental Division Service Technician to support our equipment rental operations. You will help service technicians, drivers, and coordinators by preparing and moving gear while upholding safety and efficiency on-site.

Key tasks include washing, detailing and prepping equipment, maintaining the warehouse, and timely delivery/pick-up of tools and supplies. This role offers a hands-on path with room to grow within a respected, employee-owned builder.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug test required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and positive attitude.
• Enrolled in or completed technical school training or high school/GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading of trucks
• Inspecting equipment and tools upon return for defects or missing items
• Perform Rental Ready inspections
• Assist with small tool and equipment maintenance
• Pressure washing and cleaning of returned tools and equipment
• Keep warehouse and laydown area organized and safe
• Delivery / Pick-up of Equipment, tools and supplies as needed
• And all other duties and responsibilities determined by the management of the rental division
