Job summary

United Ag & Turf NE is hiring a Rental Coordinator to serve as the rental expert and trusted advisor for branch customers. You will quote, quote follow-up, sell or fulfill rental equipment and services with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

This role rewards relationship building and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment where teamwork across service, sales and logistics drives branch success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in customer service, support, or client-facing role in a technical or equipment field.
• Proven ability to resolve customer complaints with effective solutions.
• Proficiency with CRM software and dealership systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage rental quotes, reservations, and contracts with precision and professionalism.
• Assist walk-in and call-in customers and create or maintain accounts.
• Negotiate rental and transportation pricing within company guidelines.
• Dispatch delivery trucks or coordinate third-party transport for timing.
• Serve as main contact for inquiries, issues, and feedback on rentals.
• Diagnose basic equipment issues or escalate to technical support.
• Communicate rental status, maintenance schedules, and delays to customers.
• Coordinate with service, sales, and logistics teams to fulfill requests.
• Educate customers on rental policies, terms and best practices.
• Prepare and present rental reports and account summaries.

United Ag & Turf NE is looking for a Rental Coordinator. The Rental Coordinator is the go-to equipment rental expert and trusted advisor for customers at the branch. This role is all about understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions—whether it is quoting, selling, or fulfilling orders for our rental equipment and services. What You’ll Do

• Manage rental quotes, reservations, and contracts with precision and professionalism. This includes invoicing, recurring monthly billing, freight recovery and damage recovery.
• Assist walk-in and call-in customers and create or maintain new accounts when necessary.
• Negotiate rental and transportation pricing within company guidelines.
• Dispatch delivery trucks or work with third party transport companies to manage customer expectations around delivery timelines.
• Function as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and feedback related to rental equipment and services.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic equipment issues, guiding customers through solutions or escalating to technical support.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding rental status, damages, maintenance schedules, and potential delays.
• Manage customer complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
• Coordinate with the service, sales, and logistics teams to fulfill customer requests efficiently.
• Educate customers on rental policies, terms, and equipment best practices.
• Prepare and present rental reports and account summaries to customers.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service, support, or client-facing role, preferably in a technical or equipment-related industry.
• Proven ability to resolve customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
• Proficiency with CRM software and dealership systems.

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Customer Service, Business, Communications or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

The posted pay range reflects the full compensation range for this position. Starting pay is determined based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic market, and internal equity. Most new hires are placed within the lower to middle portion of the range, with opportunities for continued wage growth as they develop in the role.
