• Transfers equipment to all branches and maintains an active equipment list.
• Processes rental invoices and billing; communicates potential lost rents to Rental Manager.

Will process rental equipment orders, delivery and pickup of rental equipment to and from customers. Transferring equipment to all branches of the company for up most utilization. Will submit and process rental billing daily. This opportunity represents Shoppa’s Material Handling and requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, great attitude and outstanding customer service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assigns and schedules rental equipment to maximize utilization and profitability, while ensuring the job’s expectations are consistently and satisfactorily metReceives incoming customer calls requesting equipment rentals, availability and quote ratesSolicits new rental business via outbound phone callsFollows established procedures for equipment rentals with the ERP systemSchedules pickup and delivery of rental equipment to and from our customersAssists the various branches transferring rental equipmentWork with the lead shop supervisors to schedule rental ready equipment and service workMaintain an active rental list of equipment availability, ensuring units are checked in and out dailyProcess rental invoices and various special billingCommunicates all potential/lost rents to the Rental ManagerFollow up with customer to ensure on time delivery and equipment conditionUnderstand and stay current with the company products, policies and proceduresAll other duties and special projects as assigned.High School Diploma required, preferably a college degree.2-3 years’ experience in rental industry, sales or a customer service environmentequipment rental industry or material handling experience preferred.Strong telephone skills along with written and verbal communication.Be able to communicate and articulate orders with customers.
