Job summary

Impact RTO is hiring an entry-level driver with no prior experience required. You’ll deliver furniture and appliances, assist in-store tasks, and help customers in their homes. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance into management paths.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy items are needed for daily duties. New Jersey residents welcomed; the role includes paid time off, health benefits, and a company 401(k).

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with training provided.
• Must be 18 or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (at least 1 year of driving).
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and move heavy furniture.
• Friendly and professional when talking to customers is a MUST.
• Must pass a background check and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
• Load and unload items — we’ll show you how to do it safely.
• Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
• Treat customers with respect and communicate clearly.
• Occasionally participate in the creation of social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support Company initiatives.
• Collect payments when needed.
• Keep the truck clean and organized.
• Help in the store between deliveries- We provide the training.

What You’ll Do

This is a driving and customer service job. You’ll be on the road most of the day delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, picking up items, and occasionally collecting payments. You’ll also help out in the store as needed assembling items as well as assisting in customer facing tasks.
