Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Covington, VA is hiring immediately for an entry-level driver and customer service role. No experience required; we train you and there’s a clear path into management. You’ll spend most days on the road delivering and picking up furniture and appliances, with opportunities to assist in-store tasks.

We offer a 5-day work week with Sundays off, plus benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan, and an employee discount. No résumé needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record (at least 1 year of driving).

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
• Load and unload items — we’ll show you how to do it safely.
• Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
• Treat customers with respect and communicate clearly.
• Collect payments at the door when needed.
• Keep the truck clean and organized.
• Help in the store between deliveries.

What You’ll Do

This is a driving and customer service job. You’ll be on the road most of the day delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, picking up items, and occasionally collecting payments. You’ll also help out in the store as needed assembling items as well as assisting in customer facing tasks.
