Job summary

Advanced Facilities is seeking a Project Renovation Technician to perform a broad range of maintenance and renovation tasks for vacant apartments and assigned properties. You will handle repairs, replacements, and upgrades across plumbing, electrical, doors, cabinetry, flooring, and other fixtures under general direction.

The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and HVAC-related tasks, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion of

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience in residential, retail, or commercial properties.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, plastering, heating/cooling, and minor electrical tasks.
• Ability to read and follow directions, maintain safety, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform light framing and carpentry work.
• Prime, sand, seal, patch, and paint surfaces.
• Prepare floors for new flooring (LVP, carpet, tile).
• Replace finishes including cabinetry, countertops, doors, hardware, appliances, lighting, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
• Inspect completed renovations for quality and readiness.
• Travel to project locations around SE Minnesota and Minneapolis/St. Paul as needed.
