Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Renovation Technician to join the Health Center team. The position offers an hourly wage of $16–$18.50 and a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule.

You will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, and other renovation tasks under supervision to maintain unit readiness and overall facilities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, some technical schooling preferred, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some technical schooling preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in construction, maintenance, or general labor.
• Knowledge of equipment used in construction or related work.
• Able to learn and follow instructions; read blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Remodel / Unit Turnover
• Assists with apartment turnover.
• Supports unit renovations through demo, framing, minor repairs, trim work, hauling/cleanup, and general jobsite assistance.
• May operate company truck for transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment
• Performs general maintenance duties, such as carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting
• Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy
• Performs minor building and equipment repairs
• Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition
• Accomplishes work in the order of priority set by supervisor
• Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts
• Performs daily tasks in a safe and workman-like manner in accordance with company policies
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
