Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for full-time, hourly pay of $16–$20. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, plumbing, minor electrical work, and general repairs to keep the campus safe and functional.

You will support residents and staff and contribute to a welcoming living environment. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma/GED with some technical schooling and at least one year of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Some technical schooling or background preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in building construction and/or maintenance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties on the physical plant.
• Fix wall/ floor coverings and basic furniture and fixtures.
• Light plumbing, minor electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Complete work orders daily per policy.
• Paint and refurbish projects as directed.
• Install doors, locks, and keys, and manage campus key control.
• Troubleshoot heating and cooling systems and install wiring as needed.
