Job summary

Estipona Group in Reno, NV seeks a Social Media Intern passionate about marketing and brand storytelling. You will join the social media team to help ensure client work is delivered on time and aligned with each account’s strategy while gaining hands‑on experience.

You will create captions, edit content, research trends, engage with communities and assist with video shoots. The internship runs May 17–August 13, 2027, with 20–40 hours/week and $14/hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for creative writing, content creation and social media.
• Familiar with social platforms and trends/digital culture.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Canva and CapCut.
• Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, PR, journalism or related field.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, collaborative and self‑motivated.
• Curious, open to feedback and eager to learn.
• Live in Reno/Sparks with valid driver’s license for job travel.

Responsibilities

• Support social media coverage and event content for Hot August Nights, including potential overtime (July 30–Aug 8, 2027).
• Create social media content including captions and platform-specific copy with the team.
• Proofread and edit content for accuracy and brand voice across clients.
• Research trends, platform updates and content opportunities.
• Assist with community engagement by monitoring comments and messages.
• Assist with scheduling/publishing content across platforms.
• Participate in campaign brainstorms and client meetings.
• Assist planning, production and post‑production of video shoots and other formats.
• Collaborate with creative, social, digital and account teams.
