Job summary

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure is hiring an on-site Site Security Manager in Reno, NV to build and lead a security program for a mission-critical data center campus. You will oversee contract guards, access control, video surveillance, and incident response while ensuring compliance with hyperscale customer and regulatory standards.

The role requires 5+ years of security operations experience, strong vendor management, and hands-on administration of Genetec systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive physical security operations experience, with at least 2 years in data centers or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience managing third‑party contract security services, including SLAs and staffing compliance.
• Hands‑on experience administering enterprise physical access control and video management systems (Genetec/Omnicast/Synergis).
• Familiarity with Traka and biometric access control platforms preferred.
• Experience supporting customer or regulatory security audits and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day physical security operations for the site, acting as the primary on‑site security point of contact.
• Oversee third‑party contract security Officers, including post orders, staffing, training, KPIs, and quarterly reviews.
• Administer access control (Genetec Synergis) and badge issuance/termination; manage access reviews.
• Oversee video management (Genetec Omnicast); ensure camera health and recording integrity.
• Lead site incident response, investigations, and after-action reporting; maintain security metrics.
