Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to support renewable energy projects in Colorado. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, and other construction machinery on solar and wind site preparation and construction.

You will perform daily inspections, report defects, maintain logs, and uphold safety plans while collaborating with the ground crew and supervisors.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and project plans.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Must provide own transportation to job sites.
• Safety-focused with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and skid steers on renewable energy sites.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and report defects.
• Maintain equipment logs and daily activity reports.
• Adhere to safety regulations and site safety plans.
• Assist with ground crew duties and general site cleanup.
• Grade, excavate, and backfill according to plans.
• Load and unload materials as directed by the supervisor.
