Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator (Non-Driver) to operate heavy civil and mechanical equipment on renewable energy construction sites. This on-site role emphasizes equipment operation and safety, with responsibilities including pre-operational checks and routine maintenance.

The successful candidate will read blueprints and follow project plans, work well in a team, and comply with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy civil and mechanical equipment in construction/industrial settings.
• Ability to operate safely and efficiently with attention to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with renewable energy construction projects preferred.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, and project plans.

Responsabilités

• Operate a variety of heavy civil and mechanical equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, lifts).
• Perform daily pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations on site.
• Excavate, grade, trench, and move materials per project plans and specs.
• Assist with assembly, positioning, and installation of mechanical components for renewable energy systems.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow and progress.
• Identify and report malfunctions, safety hazards, or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and tools/equipment properly stored.
