Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Renewables Project Manager to lead EV charging, battery storage, and solar PV projects. You will coordinate field teams, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining current project status and proactive risk management while ensuring timely updates and successful deliveries.

The role emphasizes strong organization, clear communication, and rigorous reporting across schedules, budgets, and documentation to support continued growth in renewables

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management experience in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
• Experience with EV charging infrastructure, including L2 and DC fast-charging projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously with clear status updates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with active construction sites and update status.
• Capture and report project data in company systems (schedules, milestones, blockers).
• Serve as primary contact for customers with proactive status updates.
• Coordinate across construction, operations, engineering, procurement, and leadership.
• Maintain detailed project schedules and identify potential delays early.
• Identify risks and drive resolutions to protect schedule and budget.
• Track action items, assign ownership, and ensure closure of issues.
• Coordinate with managers, subcontractors, and field crews to align priorities.
• Oversee permitting, inspections, energization, outages, and commissioning requirements.
• Monitor procurement and material status affecting schedules.
• Manage scope, budgets, forecasts, change orders, and invoices.
• Document customer-requested changes with pricing and approvals.
• Lead internal and customer project meetings and report progress clearly.
• Maintain organized project documentation and closeout packages.
