Job summary

Motive is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers in planning and delivering renewable energy installation projects, including commercial rooftop solar, BESS, and EV charging infrastructure. You will manage documentation, prepare materials, and help develop foundational project management skills for advancement to a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of administrative, coordination, or project support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to Project Managers across active renewable energy installation projects.
• Manage and maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
• Prepare, format, and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, status updates, and client-facing communications under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and action items; follow up with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met and elevate issues to the Project Manager as appropriate.
• Support project budget tracking by assisting with purchase order coordination, invoice processing, and expenditure monitoring in collaboration with Project Managers, accounting, and supply chain teams.
• Coordinate logistics for project activities including scheduling meetings, arranging site visits, and communicating with subcontractors and vendors as directed.
• Maintain organized digital filing systems and ensure document control standards are followed across all assigned projects.
• Learn and apply project management methodologies and tools under the mentorship of Project Managers, actively developing toward full project ownership over time.
