Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP seeks an associate with 3-5 years of energy project finance experience to join the Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector in our Denver, Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, New York, or Washington, DC office.

The associate will work on sophisticated renewable energy and infrastructure matters across Foley's nationally integrated platform, with a focus on project finance and tax credit transactions, as well as broad substantive exposure to a variety of power and renewable

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission.
• 3–5 years energy project finance experience.
• Experience representing developers, sponsors, lenders or other project participants in renewables/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work on sophisticated renewable energy and infrastructure matters with focus on project finance and tax credit transactions.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related financing documents.
• Coordinate due diligence, manage transaction workstreams, and drive matters toward closing.
• Review project documents and engage subject-matter input in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
