Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC in New York seeks a Project Execution Manager to lead renewable energy project delivery, safety, quality, schedule and contractor management.

The role requires a BS in engineering/construction, PMP or PE is a plus, 5+ years PM experience, travel 25-50%, and strong leadership, communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction from an accredited university.
• PMP Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Assure the timely execution of the project within the established schedule and budgetary constraints and in compliance with safety, reliability, technical quality and regulatory requirements
• Proactively manage the execution of project contracts including review and approval of change orders and invoices
• Coordinate project expectations, workflows and communications across multiple departments and stakeholders, internal or external, to RWEA to ensure overall compliance with the project objectives, contracts, budgets and schedules
• Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others
• Identify, report and manage project risks including collaboration with the appropriate project stakeholders to develop mitigation plans
• Select individuals on the project site team and provide them with appropriate direction and focus to accomplish project goals and objectives
• Maintain appropriate communication with senior management and all project groups and functions within and outside the company. Prepare and distribute progress status reports, as required
• Ensure the highest level of environmental health and safety on assigned renewable energy project(s)
