Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or similar).
• Strong proven experience in a commercial or analytical retail energy role.
• Proven experience in managing PPAs, including ISO market knowledge (ERCOT, PJM, CAISO, ISONE).
• Advanced skills in Excel VBA and SQL; Python preferred.
• Experience with ETRM systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex data and present to senior interested parties.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in full lifecycle of renewable PPAs from engagement through execution.
• Develop and implement deal models and valuations to assess viability and fit of opportunities.
• Identify and implement improvements in Renewable PPA operations, deal workflow, and internal controls.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Assess market sentiment and trading fundamentals to optimize deal structures.
• Present commercial proposals and analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure all agreements comply with trade fields and regulations.
• Lead with vision in renewables supply chain and develop standard processes.
• Listen to needs and adapt communication and negotiation approaches.
• Articulate commercial terms and recommendations in writing.
