Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Senior Asset Management Analyst to own a portfolio of renewable energy assets, maximizing performance across commercial, operational, and financial dimensions. You will collaborate across engineering, finance, and market teams to execute asset strategies and track performance.

The role emphasizes strong analytical capabilities, experience with PPAs and energy markets, and leadership in cross-functional initiatives within a growing renewable portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of asset management, energy markets, or renewables experience.
• Knowledge of North American energy market structures, ISO/RTO operations, and market protocols.
• Commercial acumen with PPAs and related contracts.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills for financial or operational analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Asset Manager for a portfolio of utility-scale generation and energy storage assets, maximizing performance.
• Own asset-level financial performance including P&L oversight, forecasting, annual business planning, gross margin assumptions, and value optimization initiatives.
• Partner with ENGIE Trading and Energy Management teams to establish risk mandates, support market participation strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance asset value.
• Manage and administer complex commercial agreements, including PPAs, Operations & Maintenance Agreements, Asset Management Agreements, equipment supply and service agreements, and landowner and stakeholder contracts.
• Provide leadership on ISO market protocols, regulatory requirements, and market fundamentals, engaging subject matter experts as needed.
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial reporting to internal stakeholders and partnership teams.
• Lead asset transitions associated with acquisitions, commissioning activities, and operational handoffs, ensuring contract execution, compliance readiness, and alignment with applicable incentive programs.
• Partner across Operations, Finance, Legal, Trading, Power Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, enhance asset performance, and advance strategic business objectives.
