Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
The Sustainable Partnership seeks a Strategy Manager to build and maintain power market fundamentals models across US ISO markets, driving investment decisions for a growing portfolio. You will translate market and policy shifts into a clear commercial view used to guide acquisitions, divestitures, and portfolio choices.
You will report to a senior strategy leader and collaborate with development, finance and operations teams, with exposure to the executive team and board from day one.
Our client is a well capitalised, PE-backed IPP with a growing multi-GW portfolio of solar, storage and generation assets across the US. Having been genuinely aggressive on acquisitions in recent years while continuing to expand their operating fleet, they are now hiring a Strategy Manager to join their New York team.
This is a hands on seat, not a directing one. You will build the company's own long term supply and demand view, market by market and ISO by ISO, and use that view to inform real investment decisions: what gets acquired, held or divested. You will be working from first principles rather than off-the-shelf vendor output, so the ability to build a fundamentals model from scratch and defend every assumption in it matters more than familiarity with any one tool.
You will report into a senior strategy leader with a strong consulting background, sit within a small, sharp team, and have genuine exposure to the executive team and board from day one.
Compensation: competitive base plus benefits, commensurate with experience.
