Job summary

EDP Renewables seeks a Renewables Performance Senior Specialist to monitor asset performance across wind, solar and storage. You will diagnose issues, develop metrics, and deliver BI reports in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

The role requires 1–3 years in renewables, strong English, and expertise in SQL, Python or R, plus PowerBI and cloud analytics. Hybrid work and travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering or STEM
• 1–3 years’ work experience, preferably in renewable energy or related field
• High level of English; other languages valued
• Programming experience with SQL, Python, or R; PowerBI knowledge
• Experience with big data analytics and cloud computing is desirable

Responsibilities

• Identify main drivers of underperformance in EDPR NA assets
• Create BI reports to monitor performance
• Coordinate with Asset Operations and Performance Management teams
• Program data queries in SQL, Python, or R and in Azure Databricks
• Ensure data quality and support global team initiatives
