Job summary

Trimark Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to oversee OCC operations for a utility-scale renewable energy facility in Texas. You will manage budgets, financial reporting, vendor contracts, and regulatory compliance, while driving process improvements and workforce planning.

Travel to partner sites may be required. The role demands strong financial acumen, leadership experience, and familiarity with NERC, FERC, ISO, and GOP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years in business operations management in energy, utilities, or renewables.
• Staff management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with NERC, FERC, ISO, and GOP frameworks preferred.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ERP/accounting systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track, and manage OCC operating budgets in collaboration with GOP leadership.
• Oversee invoicing, receivables, and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
• Manage contract deliverables and ensure regulatory compliance (NERC/FERC/ISO/RTO).
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory officials.
• Maintain documentation related to contracts, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Lead initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, OCC business processes, and SOPs.
• Assist in workforce planning, including staffing strategies and shift schedules.
• Coordinate procurement of OCC services, supplies, and vendor management.
• Present periodic performance summaries, KPI dashboards, and strategic updates to GOP and OCC leadership.
• Monitor OCC metrics and report to internal/external parties.
