Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Kentucky is seeking a Lucy- Laborer Renewables to support construction and maintenance of solar and wind projects. You will assist skilled trades, prepare worksites, and maintain a safe, efficient job site without operating company vehicles.

The role emphasizes physical labor, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Prior construction experience is preferred but not required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or industrial labor is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain).
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow safety instructions.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Team player capable of supporting skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, wind turbine components, and other renewable energy infrastructure.
• Perform general site cleanup and organization, including debris removal, sweeping, and material handling.
• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and prepare ground for construction activities using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on the job site.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools as directed and trained.
• Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support skilled craftspeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, ironworkers) with various tasks.
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
