Job summary

Pattern Energy seeks a Senior Project Finance Analyst to lead financial modeling and due diligence across wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects. You will structure tax equity investments, develop financing solutions, and present insights to stakeholders.

The role collaborates with development, asset management, legal, and corporate finance teams and includes a bonus program and comprehensive benefits. 2–4 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related area with 2–4 years of project finance analytical/modelling experience.
• Advanced degree and/or CFA certification is optional.
• Project Finance acquisition, management or transaction experience preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills with financial modelling knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and organize large data sets.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models and analyses for renewable energy projects.
• Assist with structured finance product development and tax equity solutions.
• Prepare internal/external investment presentations and briefs.
• Identify investment drivers and perform sensitivities.
• Support development activities and due diligence for project value and risk.
• Conduct counterparty credit reviews to quantify risk and inform protections.
• Perform general research and statistical analysis.
• Analyze market risk factors, pricing and hedging products.
• Support treasury and capital planning functions.
• Engage with internal/external clients and respond to information requests.
• Serve as a junior team member in financing processes.
