Job summary

Xcel Energy Services Inc. offers an exciting internship in Renewable Generation.

You will work with engineering staff to support reliable, efficient operations of renewables and function as an entry-level engineering project management intern with Hydro, Wind, Solar Operations and Energy Supply Projects. Typical responsibilities include construction observations, plans and specifications review, risk evaluation, and technical report writing.

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher.
• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Structural).
• Willing to travel to renewable facilities 25% of the time across WI, MN, ND and SD.
• Available to work full-time in summer (up to 40 hrs/wk) or part-time during school year (up to 20 hrs/wk) at a hybrid location.
