Qualifications

• This internship requires pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or biosystems engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the program is required.
• Graduation date must be on or after the internship period.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week is required.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the ethanol plant under supervision.
• Assist in design, modification and operation of process equipment.
• Support capital, expense and maintenance project execution from conception to completion.
• Prepare cost estimates, justifications and project documents for approvals.
• Develop technical specifications to procure equipment and services.
