WSP USA invites applications for a Full Time Civil Engineering (Renewables) Intern in Las Vegas, NV. Open to undergrad/grad students. 12-week summer program starts May 17, 2027.

Gain hands-on experience in power delivery, generation, and project management with senior staff. You will develop technical, social, and ethical skills, assist with preliminary design, fieldwork, and documentation, and learn interconnection processes for renewable energy projects. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualificações

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program with Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Demonstrated interest in Consulting Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• Strong communication and professional presentation to diverse audiences.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical, social, and ethical skills in engineering tasks.
• Learn basic Civil Engineering principles.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Engage in interconnection processes and renewable energy delivery projects.
• Assist in substation design considerations including one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Perform design calculations per IEEE, NEC, NESC, ASCE standards.
• Support QA/QC checks with senior engineers.
