Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Designer/Drafter – Engineering Technician to join our Renewables Division. The role supports renewable energy projects by preparing design drawings, plan sets, exhibits, and technical documents.

You will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop high-quality deliverables for wind, solar, storage, and other renewable energy infrastructure. This position emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and adherence to drafting standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD drafting and civil design software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Ability to follow established drafting standards and procedures.
• Collaborative work with engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings, plan sets, exhibits, and technical documents for renewable energy projects.
• Develop and revise drawings for civil/site design, grading, drainage, and utility components.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Assist with construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Organize and maintain drawing files, sheet sets, and project documentation.
