Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee utility-scale renewable energy assets, linking performance with financial results and advising on actions to improve returns. You will work with finance leaders and outside providers to resolve issues, manage contracts, and support investment decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management for renewables, SCADA knowledge, and ability to translate technical data into business impact.

Qualifications

• Five+ years managing or operating utility-scale renewable energy assets.
• Experience with SCADA and asset management applications.
• Familiarity with ERCOT and CAISO market environments.
• Understanding of US renewable energy PPA, interconnection terms, and regulations.
• Strong communication of technical findings to business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assess portfolio results against targets and budgets; propose corrective actions.
• Analyze plant data for output, availability, and degradation trends.
• Hold O&M providers accountable for service delivery and performance.
• Administer PPAs and project contracts, track obligations and issues.
• Explain financial implications of operating risks and expenditures to CFO.
• Coordinate with utilities, service providers, and authorities on operations.
• Track safety, environmental, regulatory obligations and reporting.
• Recommend improvements to reduce costs and boost asset productivity.
• Apply operating lessons to new design, contracts, and financing.
