Job summary

UL Solutions seeks a Renewables Intern to support Wind or Solar Energy Advisory projects. You will assist with resource assessments, energy yield modeling, and due diligence on EPC/O&M contracts, PPAs, and interconnection studies.

This role offers hands-on experience on several projects and collaboration with engineers, developers, and financial institutions. As an intern you’ll learn to enhance analytical tools, perform data analyses, and contribute to independent engineering reports while a

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Interest in renewable energy technologies preferred; familiarity with power systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to financial models is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present technical information.

Responsibilities

• Support Wind or Solar Energy Advisory projects with data collection and analysis.
• Assist in pre-construction resource assessments and energy production modeling.
• Contribute to due diligence reviews of contracts and financial inputs.
• Help develop Independent Engineering reports and QA/QC logs.
