Job summary

Longroad Energy seeks an undergraduate intern to support IFRS accounting and technical accounting tasks in a hands-on environment. You will work with the IFRS Accounting Manager and engage in record-to-report activities tied to a quarterly close, while gaining exposure to contract analyses and renewable energy accounting.

The role requires 3 days per week in our Boston office and a background in accounting or related fields, with strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student at a 4-year college
• Preferred major of accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Interest in the renewable energy industry
• Self-starter
• Strong written and organizational skills
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Cover letter highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in IFRS record-to-report process for one quarterly close
• Assist with ad hoc information requests from investors
• Implement an interactive AI tool to improve downstream accounting understanding
• Support technical accounting analyses as needed
