Job summary

Longroad Energy in Boston is offering a paid internship for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in IFRS accounting and technical accounting within the renewable energy sector. Reporting to the IFRS Accounting Manager and Technical Accounting Manager, you'll work on a quarterly close and investor information requests, while gaining exposure to contract analyses and record-to-report processes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student at a 4-year college.
• Accounting or Finance major preferred; other related majors acceptable.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in the renewable energy industry.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Strong written and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Cover letter highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IFRS record-to-report for one quarterly close (July).
• Assist with investor information requests.
• Implement an interactive AI tool to improve downstream accounting understanding.
• Support technical accounting analyses as needed.
