Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks an OCC Operator II to monitor and control turbine, inverter, and BOP plant equipment from the control room using SCADA systems. You will ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations while complying with NERC standards.

The role emphasizes rapid response to changing conditions, data validation, and coordination with regional operators to maximize asset performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical or relevant discipline is required.
• 5+ years in power system operations, power production, or related energy operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete safety program training requirements per IIPP annually.
• Maintain safe, reliable operation to maximize availability and generation.
• Monitor parameters and data points to verify operating conditions and detect faults.
• Monitor weather, irradiance, and equipment temperatures to assess conditions.
• Ensure accurate real-time generation data is reported to RTO/ISO.
