Job summary

EDF Power Solutions North America seeks an OCC Supervisor to oversee the Operations Control Center with a 24/7 schedule, directing a team of Control Center Operators and ensuring safe, reliable operation of renewable assets.

You will monitor SCADA systems, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure compliance with NERC standards while training staff and handling on-call duties across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years supervisory experience in 24/7 power plant settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Strong computer/networking skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with SCADA, industrial communications, and NERC/FERC rules.
• NERC Balancing and Interchange certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff in monitoring performance to maximize plant productivity.
• Maintain OCC operation records and personnel status.
• On-call for emergencies and 24/7 shift coverage.
• Train staff on guidelines, processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues.
