Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks a Portfolio Optimization Manager to drive development pipeline advancement from feasibility to implementation, collaborating across disciplines to ensure accurate costing, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment.

Based in San Diego, CA or Houston, TX, the role is hybrid with three days on-site. A Bachelor's in Finance/Engineering and 5+ years in energy development are expected; PMP/ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive project engineering/management in energy development.
• Deep expertise in CapEx/OpEx budgeting, project valuations, deal structuring, and due diligence/M&A.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project pipeline pricing and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with Development, SME support, Implementation, O&M, and Generation teams to gather costing assumptions.
• Lead due diligence and support M&A activities for external opportunities.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to Executive Management on risk, prioritization, and portfolio opportunities.
