Job summary

Peaks Renewables, a growing renewables platform, seeks a Technology & Process Engineer in Colorado to advance the RNG portfolio. You will lead technology diligence, develop evaluation tools, and oversee third‑party deliverables, focusing on AD, biogas upgrading, and syngas processing.

Ideal candidates have a chemical/biological/process engineering background with 3–5+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to travel 25–50% to project sites and vendor locations.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor's engineering degree.
• Licensed PE in an appropriate discipline is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of process engineering experience in RNG/biogas or related industries.
• Experience delivering process design deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulics).

Responsibilities

• Perform process design evaluation and modeling for renewable gas systems (AD, biogas upgrading, syngas).
• Develop and maintain internal process models and tools to evaluate opportunities.
• Manage programs and consultants; review deliverables and provide recommendations.
• Conduct technology diligence and vendor evaluation for RNG and gas processing tech.
• Assist EPCs and vendors in alignment with internal standards and safety expectations.
• Identify process KPIs and tools for operations and asset management.
