Job description

Associate, EPC Procurement

Remote | $60–$70/hour | Up to 10% Travel

Ready to move beyond transactional procurement and get closer to the deals that actually shape renewable energy projects?

Per Sé Group is seeking an Associate, EPC Procurement to support the sourcing and contracting of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services across a growing portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.

You’ll work alongside Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance to take EPC sourcing efforts from RFx and bid evaluation through contractor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.

If EPC contracts, bid levelization, RFx processes, scopes of work, commercial negotiations, and renewable energy projects are already part of your vocabulary, we should talk.

What You’ll Do
  • Support competitive RFx and EPC contracting processes across wind, solar, BESS, and repower projects.

  • Develop and coordinate RFPs and support bidder qualification and contractor selection.

  • Evaluate EPC proposals, contractor capabilities, risks, and commercial opportunities.

  • Perform bid levelization and cost analysis in Excel, identifying pricing variances and key cost drivers.

  • Support EPC contract negotiations involving cost, schedule, scope, and commercial risk.

  • Review scopes of work and supply to identify gaps and clarify interfaces between EPC and major equipment packages.

  • Work closely with Development, Engineering, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Operations throughout the contracting process.

  • Develop relationships with EPC contractors and support ongoing contract administration.

  • Gather market intelligence related to contractor capacity, supply-chain conditions, tariffs, policy changes, and other factors affecting project pricing and schedules.

  • Support project-financing diligence and responses to independent engineering questions.

  • Assist with procurement tools, templates, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in EPC contracting, procurement, commercial management, or negotiations.

  • Experience supporting procurement, contracting, or negotiations for large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

  • Experience with competitive bidding/RFx processes and proposal evaluation.

  • Strong understanding of contract language, scopes of work, and commercial negotiations.

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Even Better If You Have
  • Direct renewable energy EPC procurement or contracting experience.

  • Wind EPC or wind repower experience.

  • Experience across more than one renewable technology, including wind, solar, and/or BESS.

  • Experience with complex or co-located renewable energy projects.

If you’re ready to build deeper EPC commercial experience while helping bring major renewable energy projects from development into construction, we should talk.
