P B Hoidale Co Inc is seeking a Renewable Energy Technical Lead in Wichita to guide the expansion of our renewable offerings. You will conceptualize and direct technical feasibility studies, and lead the development and implementation of energy projects.

The role requires five+ years in renewables, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Science required.
• Minimum five years in renewable energy development with project delivery experience.
• Experience with solar, wind, hydro and bioenergy technologies preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee renewable energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Evaluate project feasibility by site assessments and energy consumption outlooks.
• Lead the preparation of detailed project plans, including risk assessments, safety guidelines, and contingency plans.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies and propose their application.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to acquire permissions and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.

Job description

The Renewable Energy Technical Lead at P B Hoidale Co Inc will serve as a key player in the expansion and transformation of our renewable energy offerings. This role requires forward-thinking, innovative individuals with a comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy sector, especially with regard to the technical and economic aspects. As a Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and conducting technical feasibility studies, as well as leading the development and implementation of renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee renewable energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Evaluate project feasibility by conducting site assessments, studying energy consumption outlook, and determining the best renewable technology to adopt.
• Lead the preparation of detailed project plans, including risk assessments, safety guidelines, and contingency plans.
• Work closely with stakeholders, providing them with regular updates and incorporating their feedback into project designs.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies and propose their application whenever beneficial.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and partners, negotiating contracts as needed to support project objectives.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to acquire necessary permissions and ensure project compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a relevant field is required. A professional certification in renewable energy or project management is an advantage.
• At least five years of experience in renewable energy development, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Deep knowledge of a wide range of renewable technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate teams to deliver under strict deadlines and budget constraints.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working with technical software and equipment, and familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
