Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Site Design Lead Engineer to join our renewable energy team in Houston. The role directs civil design for utility-scale projects and coordinates with multiple disciplines to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET), 5–8 years in the A&E industry, EIT certification, and strong mentoring/communication skills; AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 5-8 years of experience in discipline within the A&E industry.
• EIT certification required, PE preferred.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform all aspects of civil design for utility-scale renewable projects.

Description

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Site Design Lead Engineer to join our renewable energy team in one of our offices. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control, and completion of civil engineering design on renewable projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented design engineer to join our highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Job Duties
