The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, at least five years of renewables PM experience, proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6, and a PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with renewables focus.
• Proven track record delivering complex energy projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and development processes.
• PMP certification is a plus; familiarity with Western Cape regulations is advantageous.

About the Role Our client, a dynamic force in the sustainable Energy sector, is seeking a highly organized and driven Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee projects in the Paarl, Western Cape region. This role is central to the planning, execution, and successful delivery of renewable energy installations, such as solar farms and wind projects. You will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project management methodologies, and regulatory frameworks. This position operates on a Hybrid basis, allowing for flexibility while ensuring necessary on-site presence for critical project phases.
