Job summary

Renewable Energy Platform is seeking a Project Finance Associate to support the financial strategy and execution across solar, BESS, EV charging, and land development assets. You will build and maintain detailed financial models and assist with buy- and sell-side due diligence and transactional execution.

Reporting to the CIO, you will work with development, engineering, legal, and capital markets teams to shape strategy, evaluate PPA/RFP opportunities, and monitor project economics.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in renewable energy project finance or related M&A roles.
• Advanced Excel modeling with cash flows, scenarios, and valuation.
• Familiarity with tax equity structures and renewable financing mechanics.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams with precision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project- and fund-level financial models.
• Support buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, including valuation and due diligence.
• Model PPA and community solar RFP responses.
• Collaborate with development teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for approvals and investor discussions.
• Assist with transaction structuring and financing documents.
• Monitor late-stage and operational project financials; identify risks and mitigants.
• Track market trends and valuation benchmarks relevant to solar and storage.
