Job summary

Recurrent Energy, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, is seeking an Associate to join the Project Finance team in New York, NY. You will support debt and tax equity capital raising for solar and storage projects and deliver sophisticated financial models to optimize profitability.

This role requires strong modeling skills, high motivation, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams. Travel up to 25% may be required in a transaction-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project finance.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide financial modeling for project financing and profitability.
• Develop bespoke financing models for tax equity and debt.
• Coordinate with analysts and manage third‑party models and reports.
• Support deal leads with marketing materials and due diligence.
• Review term sheets and negotiation documents to protect value.
• Collaborate with finance, development, legal, and engineering teams.
