Job summary

Pivot Energy is a national renewable energy provider that develops, finances, builds, owns, and manages solar and energy storage projects across the United States. The Developer, Project Development will support site diligence, assess solar/storage sites for critical issues, and secure land lease amendments with landowners to advance development.

The role requires coordinating permitting, managing third-party contractors, and leading land use efforts to drive projects toward financial closings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in renewable energy development or comparable professional experience.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills to enhance the company’s reputation.
• Comfort speaking in public while presenting project concepts to boards and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with landowners, manage lease terms, and amend leases for project development.
• Submit permitting documents for energy/industrial facility development with a focus on local permitting.
• Organize and maintain files, budgets, and project records using Pivot’s processes (Procore & Salesforce).
• Manage third-party consultants and contractors for due diligence across a portfolio of projects.
• Attend community events to discuss solar with stakeholders and participate in policy groups.
