Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned manager to lead the Landfill Gas to Energy Facility in Lewisville, TX. The role focuses on safe operation, environmental compliance, timely maintenance, and contract performance to maximize production.

You will own production planning, coordinate with WMRE, and manage third-party vendors and call-out staffing. The position requires strong budget discipline and regulatory liaison skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• Experience: 5 years diagnosing and repairing engines and cooling systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Owns production planning and manages capacity to reduce costs while minimizing downtime.
• Ensures safety and environmental compliance and SOP adherence.
• Represents WMRE with third-party testing and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinates with vendors for maintenance, downtime, and contract compliance.
• Manages relationships with power/gas purchasers and adheres to PPAs and related contracts.
• Provides on-site leadership, performs repairs per manuals, and responds to call-outs 24/7.
