Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a Permit Project Coordinator for a renewable energy program on a 1-year contract. You will manage the permitting process, work with AHJs, and ensure compliance for solar, wind, battery storage, and related infrastructure.

Travel to project sites and regulatory offices may be required, reporting to the onsite manager in Florida. Responsibilities include coordinating permit applications across jurisdictions, maintaining relationships with AHJs, reviewing building

Qualifications

• 5+ years in permitting, regulatory compliance, or related corporate field.
• Experience with renewable energy construction permitting.
• Understanding of building codes and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage permit applications for renewable energy projects across jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with AHJs to facilitate permitting.
• Interpret and apply local codes, zoning, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare and review permit applications and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, development and project management teams.
• Track permit status and ensure timely submission of documentation.
• Identify permit risks and develop mitigation strategies for the project team.
• Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and communications.
• Attend pre-application meetings with regulatory agencies.
• Inform project teams of permitting timelines and requirements.
