Zusammenfassung

DESRI in Houston invites law students to join the Summer 2027 internship program. This 10-week summer position supports the Legal team on development, financing, acquisition, construction, operation, and management of DESRI’s renewable energy portfolio.

Interns will conduct legal research, review transaction documents, assist due diligence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentors, presenting their work at the summer's end.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a JD program with a strong academic record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate in small cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in transactional law, renewable energy or related areas.
• Prior renewable energy experience is helpful but not required; interest preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support DESRI's Legal team on development, financing, acquisition and operation of renewable energy assets.
• Conduct legal research and assist with transaction and project documentation.
• Assist with due diligence and legal issues across projects in development, construction, and operation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to understand commercial context and develop practical solutions.
