Job summary

DESRI, a leading owner and operator of renewable energy assets, invites interns to join the Investment/Strategy team for a 10-week summer program in 2027. Interns contribute to investment analyses, financing discussions, and growth initiatives across solar, storage, and wind projects nationwide.

Interns work with mentors, participate in learning events, visit an operating asset, and present findings at summer’s end.

Qualifications

• Analytical students with an interest in renewables, investing, finance, or strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Academic or professional achievement is required.
• Ability to collaborate in small teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with financial modeling is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Finance & Acquisitions: assist in evaluating opportunities, build/maintain financial models, support due diligence.
• Strategy: support market research, competitive analysis, and strategic analyses for project origination.
